Guest Lecturer/Speaker
I am currently lecturing at Edinburgh University for Environmental Sustainability MSc students covering topics on social enterprise, corporate social responsibility, environment, food, health and nutrition, government policies and social justice and at Kings College London for undergraduate students studying the module “The Psychology of Entrepreneurship and Innovation” under the Entrepreneurship Business Degree.
Previously I have done Guest Lecturing for Social Enterprise Academy all around Scotland along with other lectures as an Independent Speaker for the Third sector, government and private organisations. Also available for Inspirational & Motivational speaking engagements.
Food & Health Training
Developed an award-winning product “Energised Lunches” in partnership with Abertay University through You Can Cook. The unique product was developed for employees and is scientifically proven to be healthy and nutritious. We are the only social enterprise in the UK to have developed a product that targets employees health and well-being. Comprehensive understanding of food poverty, health and inequalities in Scottish communities.
Founder of You Can Cook a pioneering Social Enterprise setup in 2007, that successfully engages communities through a range of innovative cookery workshops along with skills to grow your own food. A holistic approach is at the heart of the business where the interconnectedness of cooking, growing, health, nutrition, people, cultures, politics and environment, both local and global are highlighted through raising awareness of the food we eat.
